Family's and friends gathered to the Portside to see their little rising stars. The stage was set and the excited, nervous acting students gathered themselves and came onto the stage to perform their play The Golden Goose. Teacher Heather Allen was so proud of her students as they performed a delightful Grimmm's Fairytale in which a naive young man is rewarded for his kindness and generousity to a stranger.

Yoga at the Portside
Our first Yoga class was great. Instructor Jeff Palmer actually got a round of applause after the class, everyone was very pleased with their experience. It was so relaxing and energising at the same time. There was a faint scent of incense in the air with the ambiance of candles placed around the room. These classes will be ongoing every Tuesday from 6-7 and 7:30-8:30. Yoga mats can be purchased at the center for $8.00. We may start an afternoon class also according to demand.
